Description: Provides students with concepts and knowledge necessary to understand the influence of the environment on health, and also to understand how human activity affects the environment. Local, regional and global examples of environmental health issues, as well as success stories, are explored. The course introduces approaches that may be taken to identify, understand and reduce environmental hazards.
